PARKING

Travel from Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR)

  1. Take AirTrain from any terminal to the Newark Airport NJT train station.
  2. Take any train in the direction of New York City and get off at the next stop (Newark Penn Station).
  3. There is a simple transfer from Newark Penn station to PATH that will take you to the Exchange Place (make sure you take the PATH train going to the World Trade Center and not to the 33rd street).
  4. Get off at the Exchange Place stop and you will see Hyatt directly to your right.

Newark Airport (EWR) connects to New Jersey Transit's (NJT) Northeast Corridor (NEC) via the dedicated Airport Rail Station, a hub for NJT and Amtrak trains, with seamless transfers to terminals via the AirTrain Newark monorail, providing key public transit access to NYC, Philadelphia, and beyond. Passengers buy NJT/Amtrak tickets to EWR, use the barcode to access the station, then take the AirTrain (included fare for NJT/Amtrak tickets) to terminals, with options like the Newark Airport Express bus for direct NYC travel.

  • The Hyatt Regency of the Hudson Hotel is situated right next to the PATH station stop called Exchange Place.
  • If you are in New York City, the Exchange Place can be reached by taking PATH train from the World Trade Center (one stop).
  • The World Trade Center stop is a major subway hub that can be reached by multiple subway lines from almost anywhere in New York City (see MTA map).
  • You can also catch PATH at the 33st station in New York City and take it to Newport/Hoboken and then walk about 10 min South along the Hudson river to get beautiful views of the NYC skyline.

Self-Parking

Situated near the PATH train in Jersey City, self-parking is available at the Hyatt garage located at 135 Green Street, which is 5-minute walk from the hotel. A validated parking sticker is required from the Hotel's front desk.

Travel from John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK)

You have several options, this one is least cumbersome:

  1. Take AirTrain from any terminal to Jamaica Center Subway Train Station.
  2. Take E train going toward New York City and get off at the World Trade Center stop.
  3. Take one stop on PATH to the Exchange Place stop.
  4. Get off at the Exchange Place stop and you will see Hyatt directly to your right.

If you are traveling by Amtrak, you can get off at Newark Penn Station and take the PATH train toward World Trade Center, and get off at Exchange Place.

Alternatively, Amtrak will also take you to the New York Penn Station from where you can take the E train to the World Trade Center, and then PATH to Exchange Place.

*Note to 1st time travelers: Newark Penn Station and New York Penn Station sound alike. Everyone confuses these two. Another major point of confusion is Newark Penn Station and Newark Airport Station. You cannot fly anywhere form Newark Penn Station (but you can visit the IronBound Neighborhood in Newark for the delicious Portuguese and Peruvian Food).

Valet parking is available on location through LAZ valet parking. Please note, in and out service is not permitted.
